Anyone want to trade backs?

It’s rained off and on and it’s just cold enough it’s not freezing. My back is still giving me lots of pain and numbness. On top of it my soap channel went out … grrrr

I spent most of the day trying to get this back to stop .. of course nothing is going to stop it with the weather like it is. Come on 17th get here so i can head to warmer weather. The only positive thing today was we didn’t get any ice or white stuff.

A New Game

I spent the day just taking it easy and trying to get this back to let up. This cold weather is starting to get the best of me. I didn’t even go to church this morning. Most my day was spent laying around and just playing on the computer.

It’s still cold … brrrr

Well i woke to another cold morning and my back is still not liking it. I spent most of the morning just trying to get this aching back to let up. Later in the afternoon a trip to Aldi’s was needed and it warmed up to 40 degrees! So i went to Aldi’s and Wal-mart but by the time i got to Wal-mart i was hurting and couldn’t remember what i actually needed. I was just ready to go home and lay down.

Once i got home filled the fresh water tank and drinking water jug. I spent my evening on the couch with a very aching back.

Down in my back

Ughhh it’s not been a good night or day. It got very cold last night and all night long i was up and down with my back. Nothing i did would make the pain go away. I couldn’t get comfortable and it didn’t matter how i tried sit or lay down. I have been in bed most of day with this aching back. Well actually between the bed and couch.

My camper is a mess and i haven’t done dishes for a couple days now. Oh well until the cold lets up i will be held up inside of Ms. Southwind.

Brrrr

I got up this morning and brrr it’s cold. I went to headquarters today to help out the gals. Beth called me yesterday afternoon and asked if i could come help them out for a day. I had a great time and yes it’s still cold here. They are predicting an even colder night tonight … when i got home i hooked up the hose thinking i could use it for a bit. Well i never thought but in no time it was froze up and when i went to turn on the water i got nothing. So i got the hose unthawed using my hair dryer and brought the hose inside to the shower. I then dug out my back up 5 gal water jug and filled it up to use. The fresh water tank has water but i wanted drinking water.

Tonight supper consisted of salad with steamed green beans … mmm it was good. After supper I spent my evening doing laundry and curled up on the couch .. I'm exhausted!

A Cold Day of Shopping!

I got up and got dressed. I’m going shopping today. I need a few things from Wal-mart and I can’t resist the Dollar Tree or any Dollar store on my way home i seen a Family Dollar store and Dollar General that i just had to stop at. I got some Christmas lights at both. I got a neat looking globe that has lights. I chose the clear light globe as i figured i could use it for summer lights as well. At Dollar General i got these multi-colored lights and here they are.

Ms. Southwind is looking so festive. It has continued to get colder all day long and late in the afternoon we had snowflakes! Luckily nothing stuck and it didn’t last too long. They are predicting very cold temps tonight so this evening after doing my dishes and getting showers we drained the tanks and unhooked the hose from the hydrant as to prevent freezing.

I was tired from all that shopping so supper was grilled ham & cheese sandwiches. Even though the wind is blowing and it’s very cold outside we are nice in warm inside of Ms. Southwind. The evening was spent on the couch watching Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer one of my favorite Christmas shows. Hope you are all staying warm where ever you are.

December 1st!

Since i was feeling better and I hadn’t cleaned in several days other then the dishes i decided i better shake the rugs and sweep. That is a down thing to having wood flooring, it seems the dust shows and sticks to your feet more. Gross huh? But i love it anyway! No, i didn’t scrub … so just hush!

I don’t know about you but it seems no matter where i am i always have a clutter place do you find this true? When i lived in a stick house it was always our dining room table and hutch and now in Ms. Southwind it’s the table and front of the cab. Mostly the driver’s seat. The driver seat is the coat holder, shirt holder for hubby and i have a basket that holds my external hard drives full of scrapbooking stuff. Dog food (which usually stays in the trunk but some how ended up there) and extra covers and pillows in case we have a guest/guests. The table is place for my desktop monitor, keyboard, laptop and both mouse, tv changer, pens, whatever might get thrown there. I clean it off but by the end of the day it is full again. Hmmm I guess you can see i am not a clean freak.

I also worked some today on tearing off some of the old fabric on the side board of the couch. As soon as i get it cleaned up i am hoping to get the fabric cut and put the sides back on the dinette. I have to tear the old material off the couch yet and i checked out the captain chairs as i have no idea how I'm going to re-cover them yet. Nope i have no plans on this re-upholstery I'm doing, i just do it as i go.

I forgot to take pictures of my clings i put on Ms. Southwind for Christmas. I told you the other day but didn’t take pictures so today i decided to take a picture of them for you. This is the extent so far that i have done for decorating to get festive for the up coming holiday. What ya think? No I'm not talking about the old fat lady you seen in the window taking the picture … LOL

I spent the rest of my afternoon online just surfing and catching up on soaps i hadn’t seen since Gulfport, Ms. Yes, we get my soap channel again … Yeppie

I decided even though we have left over turkey left i wanted something else so i put some Salisbury steak in the oven and made some mashed taters and called that dinner. We had Cherry Cheese Cake for desert … delicious. After dinner i took a shower and played online. Then it was off to bed … hope you had a good one …
