I played phone tag with my sister again, so i called my son and he left me a message, that my dad has to go for more testing to see if they can do surgery. Please remember my dad in your prayers. He is a very special person. I called my son and he said he would get ahold my sister
and let me know about dad.
My son finally left me a message and said that my dad has to see his heart specialist to see if he
can withstand surgery on the cancer.
I got some disturbing news today. I was checking my voice messages and my sister left me a message that my dad may have cancer in his lung & neck. He will know more on Monday. Not something I wanted to hear. Hubby and I have been discussing what we should do if it turns out to be cancer. Hmmmmmmmm
Hubby did some maintaince repair yesterday. We had a small leak in one of the cabinets above the table. We bought some silicone at the Home Depot store Saturday and so he went up on the roof and used it around the vents and thing.
Good thing we got rain last night and the best part is that it fixed the leak! Wow, i'm sure glad were not in Texas right now, they sure are getting hit by horrible storms! We've had rain this spring, but at least were not being hit with terrible storms.
Wow .. 3 month anniversary!! It's hard to believe we'd live inside of Ms. Southwind as she has been our home for 3 months now! I love being inside of her and she is a great home!

We'd had a wonderful nice Spring weekend! Although i have to admit, i've smelt more campfire smoke then i like. This morning when i got up to take the dogs out, the air was filled with smoke. I could barely breathe, made me so glad that i decided to turn on the air yesterday afternoon for the dogs, while we were out. When we got home, we decided to leave the air on for the night. Am I ever so glad that I did! I can handle some campfire smoke, but when the air is filled with it, it bothers me.
We went to the Home Depot store yesterday and I got me a piece of the green outdoor turf rug to put at the door of our camper. Since the weather is nice i wanted one to put under our awning.
Today is a lazy day for us even though all the weekend campers are packing up and heading home and back to the work week. It looks like about 7 of us are staying in the camprground while 3 new ones pulled in.
Hubby is enjoying his day off by relaxing and watching the Cards (thanks to sat tv) Go Cards!
I am just enjoying the piece and quiet. I decided to take the dogs on a stroll down by the lake. Isn't it beautiful?
Wow, the campground full sign was out already this morning! No more vacancy's available. It seems everyone is ready to enjoy this wonderful Spring weather we are having. Spring has bloomed and the campground is filled with laughter and noise of family's enjoying the weather. Such a wonderful sound. Hmm .. a thought just crossed my mind. I'm thinking that I am still young enough that i enjoy the sounds of children and families enjoying the great outdoors as we used to do with our children when they were younger. The wonderful smells of food being grilled or cooked over a campfire. Sure makes a person hungry doesn't it?
Today hubby turned 45! We had a nice celebration supper for him. He also got a nice surprise present! He didn't know that the kids were coming to surprise him. The kids showed up around 5 pm, the boys BBQ out, while i fixed several of hubby's favorite side dishes and Shanie made him her special grill tators receipe, which was very yummy! Of course, I baked him his favorite choc cake, topped with his favorite Rocky Road ice cream. Nice job kids.
The weather was great! It was great to see our kids again. That is one thing that we do miss being full-timers is our families.
I think we all had a great time, Hailey enjoyed playing at the park, of course Grandma and Papa always enjoy watching her. She's always the center of our attention! We were sad as usual to see the kids leave and head back. They kids left around 9 pm, as they had a very long drive back home.

Happy Birthday brother in law Mike!! My sister Patty hubby is having a birthday today. We usually go out to dinner and celebrate our hubby's birthday together as their only 4 days apart. But this year, that is going to happen. Sure hope he has a great day anyway! Love ya guys.
Well today was that dreaded day again. We had to do laundry and get groceries, Although I did learn something from one of my readers. She told me to get some of the 3M Tape to hang my photo's with and so I did and guess what It actually holds up my pictures and things. Thank you so much reader!

Today is a special day, as Christ gave his life on the cross so that we all shall have eternal life. When my boys were little and we would celebrate this holiday with the Easter baskets and toys. I always tried to teach them the real reason it was a day of receiving gifts, just as I always did with Christmas as well. I think we sometimes forget the true meaning of these holidays.
Happy Easter everyone! Hope you all have a great day. It's cold here and the weather is very ucky, but it is a day of celebration and regardless, we should make it a special day! The campground has around 25 campers. The kids are on spring break and it seems everyone wanted to get the kids out and let them enjoy the great outdoors. Yesterday several families got together and held a Easter egg hunt, it was fun to watch the kids enjoy it, even though it sure has been one cold weekend!!
Today is also my brother in law Kevin birthday, i won't tell his age .. hehe Kevin is Hubby's sister husband. Happy Birthday Kevin!! Hope you have a great day.
