Saying good bye to dear friends

We packed up and are heading to our new location today. We have had a great weekend and met some wonderful people. Ate lots of good food. We hate to see the weekend end. We headed out around 2 pm. We stopped along the way to fill up Ms. Southwind, she was getting low on fuel. Uh oh, something is wrong. We begin to wonder if we were going to make it to our next location. Ms. Southwind kept losing power and back firing everytime we'd hit a bump or go up a hill. Were hoping we just got some bad gas and hubby is gonna change the fuel filiter and get some heat and put in it. If not, then it looks like we will be heading to a repair shop if it's something hubby can't fix.

I had my first experience with losing everything out of the frig, a big gust of wind hit us on a curve and hubby had to struggle to keep us on the road. Everything came flying out of the frig, it was horrible. All the left overs from this weekend ended up thrown all over. I had a entire pitcher of tea and it went all over the carpet. I cleaned it up as hubby drove and now i have added to my list some bungie cords and eye screws. I'm going to start locking the frig down. That is the first time that has ever happened to us going down the road. Guess we all learn from our mistakes.

We finally arrived to our new location and got setup. We were out touring and hubby ran onto a bird that was having troubles trying to fly. He caught the bird and it was wrapped up in fishing string. He wasn't a happy bird. He kept trying to bite hubby. The bird thought he was out to harm him instead of helping. He got the fishing string from around his legs and then it was wrapped up in his mouth, we feared he had swallowed a hook. But, luckily he hadn't, he just had gotten the string around inside, trying to bite and get it from his legs. We got the bird freed and set him free and he flew into a near by tree. Guess it was meant to be that we came along to save him. It's nice to save wildlife. All is well and we like what we see of our new home.

I called the office and asked for their code, as i will have free wifi here, i could see the wifi and get connected, but it wouldn't do anything .. Shoot no wifi tonight
