Hailey & Toby John!

Look what i got in the mail yesterday!!! Yesssss ... pictures of my grandchildren! Grandma is always thrilled to get pictures of these 2 precious angels.

Here is a picture of the proud papa (Tyson) and his son (Toby John)

Here is a picture of Daddy & big sister checking out little brother.

Here is Hailey being the big sister. She adores her little brother and calls him her baby. I'm told she has a to kiss him tons before leaving for school and when she gets home she has to kiss and hold him. We were worried she wouldn't want much to do with him as before Toby came she didn't care for babies.

Cool wave!

Wow, we've had a big change in weather. It's only 57 degrees outside! Compared to the high 70's to low 80's we've been having.

I haven't did to much today, i got up and picked up and then i had to go pay for another month. Yep, that time. It's amazing tomorrow we will have been here a month and it doesn't seem like we've been here 2 weeks. That is what this lifestyle is to be about for us. Enjoying life and your surroundings and not having so much stress in it.

Here is a couple of pictures i took of the campground. It's amazing how it was full when we got here a month ago and then it several of the snowbirds pulled out and there were lots of open spots. Now there are like 2 spots open and the rest are filled. There are several big jobs in the area and so the park is filled with 80% working full-timers.

I've enjoyed having my youngest son back with me. I didn't realize how much i worried or missed him until he came back to live with me. Now that I no longer own a stick house and he doesn't have a place of his own. I was worried what he would do. Now i don't have that stress. He is living with mom again until he can decide what he wants to do.

He is trying to decide if he is going back to school or going to join the coast gaurd. Decisions .... hmmm

I also finally have my blog updated so you may want to go back and read what i have added. Sorry i got behind for a bit. Too much fun visiting and enjoying the new scenery and friends.

well i'm going for a walk, hope you have a great evening .....

Enjoying the pool

Today the weather was warm enough that we enjoyed a dip in the pool. We weren't the only one who took advantage of this very warm day. It's been in the 80's all week. Still comfortable enough with the warm breeze to leave the windows open.

I forgot that the doctor told me not to get my head wet when i dove into the pool. Yes, i got my head wet. Oh well, the nice cool dip in the pool was worth it.
As you can see from this photo, the kids enjoyed the pool also.

The Arrival of my Grandson!

My Grandson has arrived! I would like for you all to meet Toby John!! He arrived Monday, April 7th at 5.27 a.m. weighing in at 8 lbs 10 ozs & 20.5" long.
Isn't he so adorable. His big sister Hailey is just smitten with her little brother. Of course his mom and dad, uncle Gabe, and Grandma think he is so precious! Welcome to the world Toby. I look forward to spoiling you rotten.
I talked to his parents today and they said he is a good baby. He went to bed at 11 p.m. and didn't wake up until 5.30 a.m. They were thrilled with his sleeping through the night.
I know i am behind on my blog and will try to catch it up tonight or tomorrow, but i just had to post this first. I received this picture today. I can't wait for the many more that his parents are going to send me.
I love you Toby John .. Grandma is looking forward to holding & spoiling you.

Ear infection again!

Even though i enjoyed yesterday, i am really sick today! It hasn't been a month since i was at the doctor and sick with a ear infection. Now i have it again only worse this time around. I went to the doctor this afternoon and he confirmed i have a ear infection. This time the canal is infected.
I was put on 4 different med's. 2 pills, ear drops and nasal spray.

The doctor said that it is from allergies. Apparently Florida is worse then Illinois when it comes to allergies. He told me to stay in air conditioning and he refilled my allergy med's for me.

Although there was some good news today. My grandson was born! I'm a grandma again and when i get pictures i will post them for you.

Wildlife

We went to the State Park today and look at all the wildlife that was out today! Here is the first Alligator we have seen since arriving in Florida. He was enjoying the sunshine. I was beginning to think Alligator Lake didn't actually have any gators.

Here is a squirell that we enjoyed watching. Then he decided it was time to run off.

The deer were also out and about today. We really enjoy watching the wildlife

Look we even got to see a turtle, he was enjoying the beautiful day as well.

The best part of the day though ... was when we went to the Ocean and this ship was coming in. Look what was swimming in front of it. Yesssssssssss .. 2 dolphins! I finally got to see my first dolphins since in Florida too. I am sorry i couldn't get a better picture, but they were just tooo fast for me snap.
It's been an amazing day and this is what this lifestyle is all about. Enjoying life and all that this earth has to offer.

April Fool's Day!

I hope you all were not too naughty today and didn't play to many jokes. I was remember all the jokes i played on my family through the years on this day. Hmmm ... some were funny and some not so funny on the person i played them on. I was good today, i didn't play one joke. Hmmm maybe i am finally growing up?

The kids and I decided to hit the beach! I snapped some picture for you. I hadn't been on the beach at night yet, so it was great seeing it from a different view.

Gabe was playing around in the water and caught this little fish. Were not sure what it is ... Does anyone out there know what kind of fish this is?

Here is a picture of the kids making their names in the sand. What we didn't know about playing in the sand at night is ... the sand fleas come out! Yep, we were all playing in the sand when all of sudden we started getting bites. Didn't take us long to high tail it out of there. Next time we will be sure to spray our ankles and feet with spray.

Here is a sweet picture i snapped of Gabe carrying Bobbi and she thanked him. She couldn't take the fleas biting her. Big baby, i told her she needs to get tuff and stop being such a baby. LOL
Hope your all having a great night
