RVer’s fun

Once again i got up early, in fact early enough to eat breakfast! I had a bowl of fresh fruit and a small slice of banana bread, then it was off to morning classes. Look what i ran into ….

Ladies I'm telling you, you should of been here this week. Look more men! Bob (red hat) is Sharon new boyfriend and much better looking then her husband who has grey hair. Her new Bo has the same name as her husband and so she doesn’t have to worry about saying the wrong name. Way to go Sharon. Then Salvador who is Dale brother came to visit me as well. I asked Salvador why his brother Dale was so obnoxious, rude and not to good looking and what could he do to change Dale. He replied not much other then short of killing him …. LOL I did reply i thought that was a bit much.

After lunch it' was the ladies day of paradise! We had the entire tropical theme. It was like we were right at the beach!

The tables were even decorated as if we were at the beach!

We had a Hawaiian paradise with Hawaiian flowers, sun and of course the palm trees!

Look at all the wonderful basket that were given away in the drawing! NO, i didn’t win but my wonderful hostess did and we were excited she did as she hadn’t ever one anything at the ladies social gatherings. Way to go Diane!!!

We had a record breaking social gathering, the ladies just kept coming and coming, more chairs had to be brought in.

Of course it wouldn’t of been a Aloha without a dancer. So Kay being the wonderful director wife and chairman of the social gathering entertained us with her graceful dance. It was great and she is actually not a bad aloha dancer. Way to go Kay!!

At the gathering i got to sit with old friends and i got the honor of making new friends. This beautiful lady with such a beautiful smile is Betty. We met before i was a RVer. Her son has MS just like me. I am glad to report that he is doing better and is doing water therapy! The next picture is Dee and Darlene (Darlene is the pastor who here to do their presentation for Houston, AR)

This was Dee and Mine 1st Convention as RVer's .. we had a great time and have developed a wonderful friendship that will last an eternity. Dee and husband Donnie are from Maryland and are just getting ready to hit the road as full-time RVers!

Here is Kay turning over the stage to one of the district leaders wife, I don’t recall her name, but she gave a wonderful speech and is a great lady. I love her accent she is from some the east .. hehe

Here is a absolutely beautiful friend i met in 2007 and Ruby Tune is her name and she is just a beautiful as ever and definitely a gem of all and her name Ruby is so fitting.

The lady with the brown hair is Sharon and the blonde lady is Beth, they both work and make the home office run. I got to know Beth in 2007 and just got to meet Sharon this year! Wonderful women!!!

Of course what is a paradise gathering without food! We had fruit, cheese, crackers and water. You can see the ladies were hard at work getting things together while our eastern was giving her wonderful speech.

It was wonderful and we almost ran out of food as more women attended then was planned on. Way to go ladies .. fill the room with laughter and joy!

i know i have followers out there who do live in an RV but you maybe full-timers regardless weather you live in a vehicle, 5th wheel, RV or a stick/brick home .. what ever it may be you may have never known what it is like to be cold. I personally know what it’s like to be cold and it’s not fun. It’s much worse to be forced to not attend church because the church is just too cold. I can remember the early days of our marriage when we lived in 3 rooms and literally slept on top of the wood stove for heat as there was no insulation and the windows and door was like an air vent.

I would like to ask a request of my followers and that is … This wonderful woman in the red is Rebecca the pastor wife from Niles, OH. Her husband and her got up gave a heart touching presentation in desperate need of help. They have followed the Lord leading in being the leaders in a very run down church in Niles, OH where children and elderly can not attend church services in the winter because their heating system and church is in such need of so many things. Please pray for this couple that God will give them the strength, money, and guidance and help their church out. I would like to personally thank all the ers who were able to leave the convention and brave the cold and help this church out. This is what RV ministry is all about. Helping out others in the journey that Christ our Lord and Savior leads us. I can not begin to tell how emotional this presentation was and i do not believe there was dry in the entire room. Even another pastor who had to follow stated he felt bad for asking for the RVer’s help when clearly Niles, OH needed the RVer’s more. That is how amazing our God is. He gives us compassion and love for each other. None of us are perfect and we all have flaws and things in our lives, but the most important things is when life’s road are full bumps and turns we always have someone walking beside us. All we have to do is ask in prayer and he will guide and get us through all those bumps and turns. I know i am proof.

Today was a wonderful afternoon. There was tons of fun, yet we also had a wonderful spiritual experience in enjoying the fellowship with our sisters in Christ.
